(Faerie/Spirit House in Cornish)
Welcome to our newest addition - the Chi Yspyrys
The name is Cornish for Faerie or Spirit House, which links to the ethereal theme of this structure.
This offers a special private place in the midst of nature for small intimate weddings (non-legally binding), handfastings, renewal of vows and other small events.
Built from locally sourced chestnut and our old ash tree (which we felled due to dieback), it nestles in the centre of our wildlife field. The stone surround made use of the remaining stone from the Roundhouse, whilst the slate chippings in the central area, are upcycled broken roof tiles from previous roofing work on the house.​
Weddings and Small Events​​
​The Chi Yspyrys is the ideal location for a small intimate gathering or event. Seating up to 10 people around the edges, it leaves a central space for whatever your needs.
The Roundhouse is a novel addition to any wedding, where the party can sip a celebratory glass of champagne, mead or a non-alcoholic alternatives and nibbles around the fire. It also offers an alternative venue for bad weather.

The Hayloft is available for the night before, getting ready on the big day and the wedding night.

Space for therapists and counselling
The Roundhouse field is secluded and private. It offers a peaceful space for visitors, amongst the trees and wildflowers.
Set within the wildlife field, there are small clearings within the trees and grasses, for individuals, as well as our labyrinth. ​​​​​​​​​​
